Grades 2-5.
I Know I Can
This program was begun in Columbus, Ohio. Each second grader is given a book called
I Know I Can, to begin to raise student expectations to attend college at an early age.
Family Literacy Nights
Families and children in our schools attend an evening of food, fun and storytelling, in order to increase love of reading for the whole family. A kid-friendly menu is combined with reading, and a free book for
every child that attends. We also provide tuition payment credits as an incentive for busy parents.
