Message from the Director
“Education is the lighting of a fire.”
W. B. Yeats
These words of W. B. Yeats aptly describe the day to day action in the ACUE schools.
Yes, through the artistry of hard-working teachers, supported by gifted administrators and committed parents, grandparents and parish communities, embers are igniting daily.
Excitement, curiosity and awe come alive in young minds as students interact with knowledge, discovering worlds previously unknown. It is with the gift of faith, words, numbers, music, technology, service and caring hearts that young minds
are creating a pool of dreams that will enhance their future and build stronger communities.
Daily prayer, formal religious instruction, developing mutual respect for one another, celebrating Eucharist, various liturgical seasons, and the unending presence of God in our lives enriches and deepens the fullness of each person.
Annual test scores, student readiness for succeeding challenges and a thirst to know more continue to demonstrate the strength of the academic programs. It is in a faith-centered, small class, safe environment setting that students encounter
stability, respect, and the opportunity for a bright future.
As the ACUE schools continue to awaken young minds to the endless possibilities that await an embrace I invite you to become a part of ACUE by offering your time, talents, and or material support for tuition assistance.
“Education is the lighting of a fire,” together we intensify the urban flame!
